The Cause

Dear Students, Friends, and Family,

On Monday March 19, 2012, I will be sponsoring a day of self expression, inner peace and love for the self. What can I do? Well, I am going to represent myself AND my rights as a student in as many ways as possible. I would be delighted to see some of you joining me. I will take a vow of silence for the day in honor of inner peace. I will write love sayings and mantras on my skin. And I will be adding an extra touch as a surprise. If you support this, please paste it as your own status and please join me.

P.S. If you have a class assignment or authority speaks directly to you is the only way to break the silence to comply with all school regulations.

Sincerely,
Madison Rene' Kuhlmann

  5. As human beings we all want to be happy and free from misery. We have learned that the key to happiness is inner peace. The greatest obstacles to inner peace are disturbing emotions such as anger, attachment, fear and suspicion, while love and compassion and a sense of universal responsibility are the sources of peace and happiness. – Dalai Lama

  6. Peace is the never ending (what should I call it? thing)
that everyone seeks. A few are able to find it but I think peace is found in our souls. Peace is achieve by doing the right things because if we do the right things then we will have peace in our minds and thus we can think clearly and take the best decisions.

It is known that there is an infinite number of worlds, but that not every one is inhabited. Therefore, there must be a finite number of inhabited worlds. Any finite number divided by infinity is as near to nothing as makes no odds, so if every planet in the Universe has a population of zero then the entire population of the Universe must also be zero, and any people you may actually meet from time to time are merely the products of a deranged imagination. ~Douglas Adams, The Original Hitchhiker Radio Script

We cannot live only for ourselves. A thousand fibers connect us with our fellow men; and among those fibers, as sympathetic threads, our actions run as causes, and they come back to us as effects. ― Herman Melville
