Something With Meaning

I thought, at one time, that this could simply all exist for one special person. That was a huge mistake, this is for everyone to find meaning in. Take what you will how you will, enjoy or not, all of that is up to you. I can create what I am inspired to and leave it here in hopes someone will find this feeling that it is for them and only them, while the anyone can feel this way and understand the point - finding meaning in yourself. If you've found this, I love you even more.

Drowning

I feel like I'm drowning,
Drowning in misery.
Everywhere I look,
It's blue or red.
Blue if I'm sorrowful at the time,
And red if I'm thinking of all the world's idiots.
Somebody save me
Before I hit the bottom.
I need someone to save me from this misery,
From grief and anger.
I doubt if anyone can.
I gave up on rescue years ago.
I just want everything to end.

Hope this phase is over now. I sincerely hope so. There is a time for sorrow and then there is a time to find the child in yourself, a happy go luck person. :) ALS/David
